That's Powerful

Making Peaceful Change is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

That’s Powerful is a fully-funded community arts programme that works alongside groups to explore the issues and experiences that matter to them.

Using creative activities like storytelling, music, writing, theatre, visual arts and more, we create welcoming spaces where people can connect, share their experiences and explore ideas together.

We know that people are living through challenging times. There is a lot competing for our attention, and many issues can feel overwhelming. That's Powerful offers a chance to slow down, connect with each other in creative spaces, explore what matters most in our lives and communities, and imagine what comes next.

Every programme is shaped by the group. Some groups arrive with a clear issue they want to explore. Others simply know they would like space to connect, reflect and have meaningful conversations. Either way, we work collaboratively to design a creative experience that feels right for the people involved.

The focus is on creativity, connection, expression and discovery, you don't need to be an artist or be able to produce perfect work. Through the arts, people can explore different perspectives, build confidence, strengthen relationships and find new ways of responding to the challenges they face.

At its heart, That's Powerful is about bringing people together, making space for honest conversations, and reminding ourselves that we are not facing life's challenges alone.
