Class Act Spring Senior Show Saturday 11th April 2020 3pm

As the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues our building will remain closed to the public until Monday 18th May. Our Programme of events here at The Playhouse during that time will now be cancelled. We will seek to reschedule as many of these events as possible in the coming months.

This is not a decision we take lightly, but the health of our audiences, service users and our staff is our upmost priority, and should remain so during such difficult times.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow advice on the way forward for the rest of our Spring programme after Monday 18th May.

Our staff will continue to work remotely and we can still be reached at

Our box office has been in touch with patrons who have already booked for shows to offer a refund or notify them of alternative dates as soon as they become available.

We know that many of our audiences are incredibly committed to what we do as an organisation, and will want to show us support in this challenging time. There are some patrons who have decided not to take a refund, in which case this money will go directly to our work delivering arts in the community.

We thank everyone is advance for their understanding and support, and continue to ask for everyone to look after themselves and each other.

This will be the Class Act’s eighth annual spring show to be staged in The Playhouse, with the drama group, or “Drama Dramily”, going from strength to strength for past 18 years.

The senior group will present their own version of ‘Grease Lightning’, because why...........this group is systematic! This group is automatic! This group is highly dramatic!

Come and see the group stage their own version of “Grease” and “Tell everyone about it, Stud!”

This year the junior group will also stage their own summer show on Saturday 27th June, 5pm, separate to the senior group’s spring show.

Come and see this young group of star stage their own version of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’- “a scrumpdillyicious” “oompah loompah” snozberry” delight! CLICK HERE to book for Junior show.

At Class Act all their drama kings and queens are most definitely “a class act”!

Tickets £8
