Notice to Patrons and those who use our building

As each day passes there is an escalation on reported cases of the coronavirus in our country. As we gather large groups of people together we have a responsibility to inform you of our position.

In light of the developing situation, our building will close to the public for the next two weeks. Our Programme of events here at The Playhouse during that time will now be cancelled. We will seek to reschedule as many of these events as possible in the coming months. Our box office will be in touch with patrons who have already booked for shows to offer a refund or notify them of alternative dates as soon as they become available. Customers can also contact our box office on (028)71268027 or email over the next two weeks.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow advice on the way forward for the rest of our Spring programme.

We continue to ask for everyone to look after themselves and each other.

The world is in turmoil. Machus and Cal thought they were embarking on a youthful odyssey of self- discovery in Derry. With student riots in Paris, the Black Civil Rights Movement in the USA, the Womens Liberation movement kicking off and Queers revolting in New York, how will this impact on them?

As they try to make sense of the surreal world of The Battle of The Bogside, 1969, will they partake or will fate intervene and change everything forever?
