The Playhouse Children's and Teens Art Festival Monday 17th July 2017 to Friday 28th July 2017

The Playhouse Children and Teens Arts Festival is back for 2017!

It hardly seems a year since N.Ireland's longest running Children's Art Festival took place for children aged from 4-16 years old, and this year will be even bigger and better than before as we are celebrating 25 years!

With a fun filled theme of the Big Birthday Celebration, the Festival, sponsored by Partridge Peartree Promotions, has lined up a full party guest list of graffiti artists, dancers, graphic designers, set designers, musical theatre directors and visual artists for the 2017 Playhouse Children and Teens Arts Festival!

The longest running festival of its kind in Northern Ireland, the festival will also be continuing its teen drama intensive week for 13- 16 year olds with musical theatre director, Ryan Quinn. Facilitators delivering the birthday cheer are graphic designer and illustrator Joe Barwise, early years/preschool music and movement facilitator, Bernie Doherty, arts facilitator Kirstin McLaughlin, Artist & curator Sara Greavu, musical maestro Maurice Kelly, Mary Hill School of Ballet's Victoria Harrison, musical theatre director Ryan Quinn, and visual artist & Design Den leader Siuan O'Doherty.

Sponsored by Partridge Peartree Promotions, creative workshops at the festival include set design, street art, mini-me yoga, dance, music and surprises along the way. The festival is divided into three age categories; from 4-6 year olds, 7-12 years old and our teens - ranging from 13-16.
