The story of well known local character Barney 'Bagpipes' Hasson by his grandson returns to the stage at The Playhouse.
'Changes can affect us all and sometimes we find them hard to deal with. Everybody comes to terms with the biggest change- loss- in their own way. This is mine.'
So says playwright Brian Hasson, whose debut play 'Changes' opened to a paked house and standing ovations at The Playhouse last year. Based on his relationship growing up with his grandfather, Barney Hasson, known locally as 'Barney Bagpipes', the play will return to the stage due to popular demand.
Barney Hasson, known locally as 'Barney Bagpipes', was well known in the city for his work with beloved Colmcille Pipe Band, who will also be performing on the night.
