This course can change your life...

Do you want to become part of a creative collective?

The Playhouse Theatre, Derry is teaming up with two Creative specialists to offer a unique course that could completely change your life

Impossible Dreams offers the opportunity to be part of a creative collective where participants can take account of your life, challenge your old ways of thinking and through a creative process set you out on a new path for life.

Inspired by the international best-seller The Artists Way by Julia Cameron, sessions will take place at the Playhouse once a month for 12 months and will be facilitated by freelance theatre practitione and arts consultant Jo Egan from Belfast and Cognitive Therapist and Personal Development Coach Ursula McHugh from Derry/ Londonderry.

Using the Artist's Way Toolkit as a guide the course will also encompass some drama, writing, singing and sound workshops as well as skills and knowledge share within the group.

This course is not just for people working in the arts but for anyone who wishes to tap in to their creativity and use it in their professional or personal life.

"The Artists Way is popular the world over and we are delighted to have such experienced facilitators as Jo and Ursula here at the Playhouse to lead this course"

Playhouse Director, Pauline Ross said.

"I know it will be of great interest to people here in Derry and I expect demand to be high."

Course co-facilitator Jo Egan said: "I have conducted this Course many times in Dublin and Belfast and it has never failed to bring great change to many, many individual lives. It has that capacity to really, really challenge people and get to the heart of their creativity."

The courses will take place in The Playhouse Theatre Derry, beginning at 7pm Tuesday 15 February (thereafter once monthly meetings for 12 months). The cost is £120 and a deposit of £45 will secure a place.
