"If art is to change the world, then artists must become agents of change."
John Johnston, Head of the Master Artist Educator

We're delighted to welcome another 15 students from Artez University of the Arts's international Master Artist Educator (iMAE) programme next week.

The students will be based at The Playhouse for the next month.

iMAE is an innovative cross-disciplinary programme that aims to utilize the creative potential of the arts to engage with challenges of contemporary life across the globe.

While they are with us, these creative activists will work with us and our partners to develop practice based methodologies that will challenge narratives that serve to promote mistrust and conflict, and use her/his practice to enable social change.
