The Christmas Jammhouse With special guest Soak Saturday 15th December 2012 10pm

A very special Christmas showcase of up-and-coming Northern Irish talent, all presenting their first EPs, will jingle some bells at The Christmas Jammhouse!
The sterling line up of musical talent will accompany a triumphant return by teenage singer songwriting sensation Soak on Saturday, December 15.

Among the Christmas cocktails, mulled wine and other Christmas treats, local musicians include Susie-Blue who will launch her EP ‘Striped Bare', DAN who will present his EP ‘Gunshot', and Conor McGowan aka Ego The Jackal who will perform from this album ‘Big Moon'.

From further afield Lurgan's David Patterson will launch his EP ‘War Takes A) Certain State of Mind' and Lisburn's Patrick Gardiner will present his EP ‘Save Myself'.

The Playhouse first turned into The Jammhouse in March this year, inviting local musicians to take part in a series of sofa sessions, in the hope of securing a spot in a live music event with a twist. The bi-monthly music nights have turned into regularly anticipated events, delivering an eclectic pick and mix of local talent, from bands, to singer songwriters, to pianists.

The first artist to sit on the jammhouse sofa, and the first to release her first two EP's ‘Trains' and 'Sea Creatures' at previous Jammhouses, teenage singer songwriter Soak has gone from strength to strength since.

The Prehen teen has become one of the most exciting musical prospects to emerge from Northern Ireland, turning head and raising interest across the UK and Ireland. Her critical acclaim from national radio DJs and musicians such as Damien Dempsey and Snow Patrol's Gary has opened her up to a new nationwide audience.
