Many Faces An Exhibtion by Sinead Gormley Saturday 8th September 2018 to Saturday 22nd September 2018

About the Exhibition

Sinead Gormley's 'Many Faces' exhibition come about from her love of drawing and painting faces. The artist wanted to explore painting faces with different techniques using bold colours to bring out the different expressions and moods. She has always had a fascination for faces dating back as far as she can remember and it's all she ever seems to draw or paint.

Exhibition launch Saturday 8th September at 6pm. All are welcome.

About The Artist

Sinead Gormley is a self-taught artist who has experimented over the years with different techniques and styles.  She likes the freedom of painting with her fingers but also the delicate details you can get with a simple pencil drawing or water colour.  She splits her time between Derry and Fahan in Co Donegal where she loves to paint or draw at every opportunity.  Her family are used to seeing her with paint splattered clothes and skin and a glass of wine in one hand listening to her favourite music.

She has exhibited before as part of an art group but has always wanted to do a solo exhibition. She put it off due to family comes first. Now that she is older and wiser she feels it’s a good time to put her first, it`s now or never!
