The frantic world of a doctors' common room comes alive in this fast paced comedy by the legendary Ray Cooney.
Dr David Mortimore is preparing to give the annual Ponsonby lecture which he is reliably informed could lead to a Knighthood. However Dr Mortimore's morning turns to chaos when he receives a surprising visitor, former colleague Nurse Jane Tate. Ms Tate has an even bigger surprise for the leading physician, a son, and now David has to creatively come up with a plan prevent the truth from spilling out.
This laugh a minute comedy with its colourful mix of doctors, nurses, "neurotic animals", police sergeants was first performed by Pettigo's Borderline Players group in 2003. With some familiar faces, and new additions to the cast, this is one show not to be missed this summer.
