WORKSHOPS

WORLD CITIZEN ARTISTS

30th July 2022
Time: 12-6pm
Tickets: Free

SHARING CREATIVE PRACTICE: RWANDA, KENYA & NORTHERN IRELAND

Join leading practitioners from these diverse places working with communities living with the effects of conflict. Together, explore International creative practice and the disciplines of dance, music and theatre in these contexts

The afternoon will include shared learning sessions involving practical exercises followed by critical appraisal and discussion. The sessions will encourage peer-to-peer learning and ample opportunity to network with colleagues and visitors.

Creative facilitators already active in this area of work or exploring ways in which they can contribute to it are welcomed.  As we collectively emerge from a global pandemic this is a time to reconnect and renew.

This continuing professional development opportunity is available as part of a wider cultural exchange organised by Warwick University which is seeking to understand the effect of art and performance in places where conflict has been present.

Registration is essential and places are limited.
