Ulster Touring Opera presents

Ulster Youth Opera Workshops

Ulster Youth Opera is a new training programme delivered by Ulster Touring Opera. The programme is open to any young person on the island of Ireland between the ages 8 – 18. Ulster Youth Opera is kindly supported by the Bank of Ireland Begin Together Fund, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council.

Ulster Youth Opera members will attend monthly sessions at The Playhouse. These sessions will be led by a team of experienced opera professionals, and will develop the singing, acting and movement skills of the young performers. The Youth Opera will include opportunities for public performance, as well as back-stage visits to UTO productions.

This programme will be delivered over FOUR summer sessions, in June, July & August on the following dates:
Monday 10th June
Monday 8th July
Monday 12th August
Monday 19th August

Tickets for each session are £3 and you must be booked individually for any that you wish to attend.  

The times for each age group on these dates are as follows:
4pm - 5.45pm (Ages 8 -13)
6pm - 7.45pm (Ages 14 - 18)
