Considered one of the funniest musicals ever to grace the stage, the comical story follows down-and-out producer Max Bialystock who decides the only way to make any money out of showbiz is to produce the worst musical ever, get it financed and then run off with the leftovers once the show has flopped.

Alongside the worst director they can find, Max and his hapless accountant set about producing Broadway's newest show: Hitler – The Musical!

Kieran Griffiths- Director and Producer, The Playhouse
Kieran Griffiths is The Playhouse’s Director and Producer. Kieran joined The Playhouse team in 2012 in preparation for Derry.Londonderry’s City of Culture year producing and directing 13 critically acclaimed productions in 2013. He has since gone on to implement The Playhouse’s legacy strategy, creating new work and touring important theatre around the island of Ireland.

The Playhouse Music Theatre Company

The Playhouse Music Theatre Company offers free conservatoire level education in music theatre; offering tuition and practical education in movement, vocal and acting tuition. Focusing on the practical experience of performance, being a member of The Playhouse Music Theatre Company offers the very best local talent the opportunity to help us tell our communities' stories, performing to and for the public, building the CV, confidence and practical experience required to make it in the industry.
The company provided the ensemble, and several principal roles, in our phenomenally successful production of The White Handkerchief, performed and broadcast from the Guildhall on the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday. This year’s company will do the same for Beyond Belief, a major new musical drama about the life and mission of John Hume, to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement.
