The Feis Dhoire Cholmcille Centenary Gala Concert was held at the end of the 100th feis week and showcased some of the brightest talents that Derry has to offer.

If you were not lucky enough to be there on the day to see this spectacular show the Committee of Feis Dhoire Cholmcille in co-operation with The Playhouse are now offering the chance to see this wonderful concert online.

Eoin O’Callaghan, Amelia Films filmed and edited the concert. The producers were Aisling Bonner Feis Secretary and Eoin O Callaghan. Performers included Eoin, Bronagh Gallagher, Margaret Keys, Trevor Burnside, Gerard McChrystal, David James and some of the prize winners from the centenary Feis 2022. Video messages also came from Phil Coulter, Johnny McDaid, Roma Downey and Jonny Logan. Trevor Burnside provided top class accompaniment for some of our artists and the event was compered beautifully by Laura Keogh and Blathnaid Biddle.

This online version of the Feis Dhoire Cholmcille Gala Concert truly captures not just the talent on show but the wonderful atmosphere of the day itself. It’s also a record of a truly once in a lifetime event that marks the history of one of our city’s most renowned institutions.
