In 2019, The Playhouse commissioned playwright Jo Egan to produce one of the most challenging projects of her career: to research, write, rehearse, and perform a play about six children killed in the Troubles between 1971-1981. Jo directed both their family members and actors for the final performance.
The Crack in Everything, the documentary, was made before Jo Egan tragically died at the end of 2022. This film is both a celebration of her incredible work and an examination of how art and theatre can heal.
