This contemporary piece of theatre will be created in collaboration with people with direct lived experience of conflict, horror and loss. In it, survivors and former combatants will wrestle with the complexity of how and what to tell the next generation, their individual rights set against the refusal of the state to share the truth … and the impact upon their own lives of the events they endured.
Blood Red Lineswill be told by approximately 12 community actors sharing their own stories and experiences. The production will be performed at Newry Town hall 23rd & 24th February, Brian Friel Theatre Belfast 1st & 2nd March, and An Tain Arts Centre Dundalk on 9thMarch 2019.
