A Social, Creative, & Fun Craft Programme for Carers
Every Tuesday in September 2015, 11am-1pm
Are you aged 60+ and have caring responsibilities or do you care for someone who is 60+? Then why not come along and learn jewellery making and felt craft. Take home a finished piece and materials pack. Come for one session or come for all four.
Meet other carers, learn a craft, and take home a craft pack every session!
Only £2 per session...all monies go towards a sumptuous morning tea break...
Elevenses....a perfect time for craft, tea & chat!
This opportunity is made possible through NW Ageing Well Together Carers fund.
Lives below the Radar (Strabane)
A Shared Memory and Drama Project for Strabane's LGBT Community
Led by award winning LGBT writer and activist Hilary McCollum, the project invites members and supporters of the LGBT community to come together in a safe and supportive workshop environment, to share experiences through storytelling. Workshops will be run in late August and throughout the autumn, in the Social Enterprise Hub Strabane.
Stories will be developed into a script that will be performed in the spring of 2016.
The project is delivered under the Good Relations Programme of Derry and Strabane District Council
