THE PLAYHOUSE CHILDREN’S ARTS FESTIVAL 2012!!

Just a month after the phenomenal showcase of their Children's Arts Festival, The Playhouse is already inundated with requests for next year's festival!

Excited Tots, Children, and Teens started The Playhouse Children's and Youth Arts Festival on Monday July 18, and enjoyed two fantastic weeks of workshops in Drama, Visual Arts, Dance, Illusion Arts, Musical Theatre, Comedy, Animation, Djing, and much more, all lead by friendly, professional home-grown Artists.

The festival finished with a spectacular showcase of drama, dance, music, comedy and magic tricks on Friday July 29, when holding with long-standing tradition, The Playhouse also celebrated its 19th Birthday. Tots, children and teens blew away a packed theatre, showcasing brilliant performances in songs, dance and even magic tricks!

Sponsored by Partridge Peartree, The Playhouse Children's Arts Festival is the longest running Children's Arts Festival in Northern Ireland.
"Every year we are pleasantly surprised and delighted by the amount of energy, laughter and colour that fills the Playhouse building for two weeks" Playhouse general manager Niall McCaughan said.

"And now, not even a month after the end of one the best festival yet, we're already inundated with calls and emails from parents eager to sign up for next year! It's great to see that so many people have enjoyed the festival so much that they can't wait for next year, and to hear from people who for the first time want their children to become part of the Playhouse family for two extraordinary weeks!"
