The Playhouse is proud to announce the return of the Saturday Art Club - 'Design Den'!
The programme will feature a series of art workshops exploring different art themes, art history and teach budding artists an array of unique art skills from Batik to 3D modelling. The workshops will be facilitated by Siuán Mc Laughlin, a fully qualified visual arts facilitator
Workshop times are as follows:
Workshop 1: 9.30am- 11am 4-6 years
Workshop 2: 11am - 1pm 7- 11 years
Workshop 3: 2pm - 4pm 12 - 15 years
The programme will run for six weeks for workshop 1 and ten weeks for Workshops 2 and 3. Beginning Saturday 28 January 2012 and culminate in an exhibition of the participant's work and certificate presentation.

A gentle way to get fit and into shape without the ‘burn' Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art designed to improve co-ordination, relieve stress and strengthen joints and muscles. Adult evening painting class in the playhouse in a great room with lots of natural light, easels and books. The class will begin on Wednesday the 25th of April from 7-9pm and will run for six weeks.
A deposit of £30 is payable on the first night to secure a place. This covers materials - canvases, paints acrylics/oils and brushes. The class is for all levels of painters and everybody is welcome.
