SCOIL RINCE CATHAIR NA MBALLAI: THE WALLED CITY SCHOOL OF DANCE
meets every Tuesday from 5.30pm – 7.30pm under the instruction of Michaela Temple TCRDM. Irish dancing for fun and exercise as well as competition. TAI CHI A gentle way to get fit and into shape without the ‘burn’ Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art designed to improve co-ordination, relieve stress and strengthen joints and muscles. YOGA MEDITATION is an ancient art based on an extremely subtle science that of the mind, body and
soul. The prolonged practice of yoga will, in time, lead the student to a sense of peace and feeling of being at one with his or her environment. Classes, taught by Iyengar teacher Evelyn Donnelly, will run every Tuesday from 7.30 pm – 8.45 pm, commencing on Tuesday 15 September. PLAYBOX THEATRE COMPANY A drama project for children and young people aimed at the 5 – 15
year olds, Playbox offers its participants a chance to develop a wide range of theatre based skills – not only in acting and performance but also makeup, costume and a whole host of others. Facilitated by qualified drama facilitators, the workshops take place every Wednesday: 5 – 10 year olds, 345 pm – 4.45 pm, £3.50 per session; 11 – 15 year olds, 4.45 pm – 6:15pm, £4.50 per session.
