Powerstone Entertainment in association with the Institute for Conflict Research presents The Lantern Man by Jane Coyle Saturday 17th September 2016 8pm

Directed by Stephen Beggs

A powerful new drama from the writer of the award-winning play The Suitcase.

The setting is Dublin in the months leading up to the Easter Rising.

Wounded in body and spirit, Johnny McGrath returns from the Western Front to a city he barely recognises. He has unexpectedly inherited hundreds of glass lantern slides capturing images of soldiers in action. He decides to put them on show, to tell the public the real story of the war.

As tension mounts around him, Johnny comes to realise that there is more to the photographs than meets the eye and that secrets can be hard to hide.

Followed by post-show discussion with writer, director and cast members.

Tickets £10/ £8 (includes £1 development donation)
