A dynamic new play from Sole Purpose Productions in association with The Rainbow Project.
Written by Micheál Kerrigan with script development by Patricia Byrne and Mary Connors.
This dynamic new play follows the story of Sean, who leaves Derry in the 1980's. After coming out as a gay man in London he becomes involved in the Gay Community's support of the Miner's Strike. Two miners from South Wales come to stay with Sean and his partner not realising they are a gay couple. The events that unfold impacts on all their lives. This entertaining and poignant play is based on real events in Thatcher's Britain. It highlights the power of community. Supported by Derry Trades Union Council.
An ISL and a BSL interpreter will be present at the performance on Friday 4th October« back to What's On
