In the aftermath of the burning of Long Kesh, five prisoners, many of them sporting injuries, have erected shelters in which to sleep and avoid the cold of winter.

Five normal, bright young men are now pitched into a world of violence, paranoia and hunger.

‘Over The Wire' is a new play by multi award winning writer Seamas Keenan, directed BAFTA award winning Film & TV Director Kenny Glenaan, best known for his work on the award winning ‘Spooks' for BBC and ‘Wired' for ITV.
