A gathering for cultural exchange between communities. Workshops, music, performance the citizens wallpaper exhibition, talks and friendship

11.00hrs -12.00hrs. Citizens Wallpaper project: Introduction and discussion. Martin Nangle photojournalist explains how citizens can join the project to create their own Wallpaper around their view on their world. The results will be exhibited in galleries & festivals locally, nationally and Europe .


13.00hrs -15.00hrs. An Tairseach: Michael Nangle, director & producer delivers "The Actor in Physical Space; an exploration of mutuality and presence in acting & performance." The workshop will focus on the work of the internationally renowned Gardzienice theatre group from Poland. Please contact the Playhouse if you are interested in attending.


15.30hrs -17.30hrs. Art house Film: "1 Giant Leap... (What about Me)." by Duncan Bridgeman, Jamie Catto, 2008.
A wonderfully creative musical journey with a host of stars, thinkers and the public. The film visits fifty locations around the world collecting wisdom and musical jewels. Not to be missed.


19.00hrs -20.30hrs. La Tene Gathering: Music, song and dance with Roy Arbuckle and Delores O'Hare of Different Drums of Ireland. Harpist Tracey McRory and guest musicians will play for you. Join the craic, talks and discussions with people of different walks from across our society.
