Ireland Shed a Tear By Michael Collins Wednesday 28th February 2018 1pm & 7.30pm

Mick works hard to provide accommodation for his family amid the rising cost of the land and the cuts in funding for Traveller accommodation.
This powerful and funny play explores his challenge to get the local authorities to provide them with a properly serviced site.

Written by Michael Collins (Pavee Lackeen, Killinaskully, Glenroe, King of the Travellers) in the aftermath of the fire that claimed the lives of ten people in Carrickmines, this play aims to provoke the consciousness of the settled community and their attitude towards the Traveller community.
