Audiences NI and The Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure presents Growing Audiences A day of debate and discussion to keep the legacy alive Wednesday 11th March 2015 10am-4pm

Derry/Londonderry is a city filled with cultural tradition and quality arts events, however it is also filled with many people who do not know what is on, or think they can be involved.
Arts organisations must open their doors and commit to audience development to secure the dream of a legacy for all.

Audiences NI and The Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure want to continue the discussion about how we can address the barriers to inclusion in the arts and grow non-traditional audiences in the North West.

This event is aimed at you if you work in:
Local Communities
Neighbourhood Renewal Schemes
Arts organisations and festivals
Tourism
Venues/ Galleries

We want to help you make the right connections, explore the barriers to participation and examine ways we can collectively tackle the lack of grassroot awareness regarding art and cultural events. By coming together to network and creatively problem solve we aim to tease out the issues and learn from others success.
