Sole Purpose Productions in association with The Rainbow Project & Derry City Council presents Galatea By Lawrence Aronovitch and directed by Patricia Byrne Tuesday 23rd August 2011 8pm

A fresh look at The Pygmalion legend from a gay perspective, Galatea sees Harry, a middle-aged painter, develop a "liking" for Eli, the young model who poses for him. Georgie, Harry's long term partner, is a bit jittery. This clever and entertaining play is about love, loyalty, infidelity, marriage, class and art.
The cast are trainee actors associated with The Rainbow Project, a support organization for the gay community. The performance will be followed by a short Q+A with the writer and cast. Supported by Headliners.
There will be a wine reception at 7.15pm. All are welcome.
