Anyone reading a biography of David Lyttle couldn't fail to be impressed by the who's who of the music industry that the local artist has been in collaboration with in recent years. The drummer first reached a national audience with guitar legend Louis Stewart, and since then he hasn't looked back. His work has been constantly evolving from the folk music influences of his childhood, to the more urban jazz inspired songs featured on his latest album Interlude.
This year David brings with him the iconic pianist Jason Rebello, known for his work with Wayne Shorter and his long association with Sting. They will be accompanied by Damian Evans, arguably Ireland's most in-demand bassist, and the trio will be showcasing the hard-swinging contemporary jazz that has made David a household name in Irish jazz for the past decade.
