Joan Crossan has been painting seriously for many years and is delighted to gather up a selection of her work and put them on show.
Joan have studied Camille Corot on the advise of the late Sr. Aloysius. She is known for realism towards the beauty of everyday life, with great atmosphere, distance and perspective. She hope he has helped with her interpretation of Rocks in Stream, Gartan Lake, Donegal Stream and Wave at Portstewart.
Other favourite Artists are Sir John Lavery and Gustave Courbet, especially their treatment of water and bridges, and has inspired my paintings of The Crana River, Ness River and the Green Bridge.
