Let The Playhouse transport you back to the era of romanceas Hollywood's golden couple Doris Day and Gordon MacRae reunite on stage to tell the story of their lives.

She's toured America as a lead soloist with the Irish Singing Sensation Celtic Women and starred alongside Colm Wilkinson in his famed role as Jean Valijean in les Miserables in the West End.

Karl McGuckin
As Gordon Mac Rae
Karl's opera work includes ‘The Mikado', ‘The Elixer of Love' and ‘The Rakes Progress' with Welsh National Opera, ‘La Traviata' and ‘HMS Pinafore' with Lyric Opera Ireland, and ‘La Pietra Del Paragone' with Royal Irish Academy of Music. He is Feis Ceol Best Baratone Voice Winner 2006 (All Ireland), Feis Ceol Runner Up Best Male Voice 2006 (All Ireland) and Royal Irish Academy of Music Runner Up Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.
