ARTID

Funded by EU Gruntvig, ARTID is a multi-national learning exchange project with Arts & Educational partners in N. Ireland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Lithuania.

Every partner has applied a research and development process focusing on the development, test and optimization of a new adult education action related to the thematic frame “Identity and Difference” with artistic activities as a core element. In these actions the participants are made aware of their own cultural, social and personal identity in a way that promotes their ability to appreciate diversity and differences as enrichment to their personal, social and cultural life.

The partners are addressing very different target groups, which all are entangled in specific cultural and social tensions: Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland , people with and without migration backgrounds in Germany , members of different generations in Austria , representatives of the Italian, German and Ladin culture in South Tyrol, and people with and without ability restrictions in Lithuania.
